Responsibilities

J2E Technology needs a capable, motivated Junior System Administrator to assist with the configuration and maintenance of our information systems. Do you love tackling problems head-on? Are you constantly updating your knowledge of hardware and software trends and advancements? If you can answer “yes” to those questions, you will fit in well with our company. As a Junior System Administrator, you will be working directly with our IT Director ensuring our customers have a high-quality experience using our applications.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues for J2E Employees.

  • Assist with managing the configuration and operation of multiple web application servers.

  • Monitor daily monitoring of the systems and respond immediately to any cyber concerns.

  • Run cyber scans on a weekly basis and ensure Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) are current.

  • Assist with upgrading systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.

 


Required Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience in the system administration field

  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification

  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting procedures and information systems signal flow.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and virtualization.

  • Ability to adapt and learn to our fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Recommended Work Experience and Skills

  • Experience with PLM tools such as CMPRO and Aras Innovator. desired

  • Knowledge in Oracle and SQL Databases

Clearance Requirements

  • Secret Security Clearance verifiable in JPAS/DISS
